Matt Johnson Joins C&H

Crisham & Holman is pleased to announce that Matt Johnson has joined the firm as an associate.

Matt represents clients in a broad range of business and commercial litigation. His experience includes examining fact and expert witnesses during trial and arbitration, successfully briefing and arguing amotion for summary judgment on an affirmative claim for more than $1M, drafting petitions, complaints, and dispositive motions in both state and federal court, and arguing numerous motions before courts across the country. After only three years of practice, in 2025, Matt was named to Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch® in the area of Commercial Litigation.

Before joining Crisham & Holman, Matt was an associate in the Trial and Appellate Litigation practice group of Jackson Walker LLP. During law school, Matt interned for the Honorable Jeffrey C. Manske, Magistrate Judge for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, Waco Division. Matt was also an active member of the Baylor Law Review and co-captain of Baylor’s American Association for Justice mock trial team. Matt was the sole recipient of the R. Jack Ayres Advanced Trial Advocacy and the Ty Drury Excellence in Mock Trial awards from the faculty at Baylor Law School. Prior to law school, he served as a summer financial analyst for the energy corporate banking group of one of the largest banks in the country. 

Matt is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the District of Colorado, Northern District of Texas, the Eastern District of Texas, the Western District of Texas, and the Southern District of Texas. In addition, Matt is temporarily authorized to practice in Colorado pending admission under C.R.C.P. 205.6.
